Terms of Service

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Attention Markets, LLC, doing business as 10X Companies (“10X Companies,” “DETHRONE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of dethrone.live, and govern any use or purchase of temporary promotional placement.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing the site, signing in, or selecting the control that starts a takeover or payment, you agree to these Terms, the Rules, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use DETHRONE.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract. If you act for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

2. The service

DETHRONE sells temporary digital advertising and promotional placement associated with a verified X account. A successful takeover places that account in the site's #1 position until another eligible user completes the next takeover or the placement is removed under these Terms.

You do not purchase a minimum reign, minimum traffic, followers, engagement, revenue, publicity outcome, resale right, or ownership interest. DETHRONE is not a wager, lottery, raffle, sweepstakes, security, investment, or prize product. There are no cash winnings or payouts.

3. Your X identity

When authentication is enabled, you may promote only the X account verified through Sign in with X. You are responsible for maintaining control of that account and for the accuracy and legality of any profile information or message displayed through DETHRONE.

Signing in does not authorize DETHRONE to post from your X account. DETHRONE may announce takeovers from its own account, including your public handle, the account you replaced, the price, reign details, and a link to the site.

Where the feature is available, a reign may designate one link as its promoted destination (the "Decree"). An X post promoted this way must be published by your verified account; any other destination must be lawful and compliant with the Rules. You are solely responsible for the content of anything you promote. We display only a link and may remove a Decree that violates these Terms, the Rules, law, third-party rights, or platform policy, without ending the reign.

4. X compliance and acceptable use

You must comply with the X Terms of Service, X Rules, and all other policies that apply to your account and conduct. You may not use DETHRONE to facilitate platform manipulation, spam, artificial amplification, coordinated inauthentic activity, impersonation, abusive or unlawful conduct, or evasion of X enforcement.

DETHRONE does not sell, require, or reward follows, likes, replies, reposts, posts, or other X engagement. A takeover purchases placement on dethrone.live only.

Additional prohibited conduct appears in the Rules. We may reject, remove, restrict, or suspend any account, message, placement, metric, or credit that violates these Terms, the Rules, law, third-party rights, or platform policy.

5. Prices, authorization, and payment

The current takeover price is displayed before checkout and may change under the published pricing formula. When taking #1, you may leave the opening investment at that price or voluntarily set a higher opening reserve. By completing checkout, you authorize a single immediate charge for the full amount shown, including any opening reserve. A successful opening reserve becomes completed promotional-placement spend and sets the new dethrone price under the published formula.

If you are the current ruler, you may later choose Fortify Your Reign and authorize a separate one-time charge for additional promotional-placement spend. A completed fortification increases the current reign's total investment, recalculates the displayed takeover price under the published formula, and restarts the price hold and decay schedule without restarting the reign.

An opening reserve or fortification is not an automatic bid, stored balance, refundable deposit, permanent minimum price, or guarantee that you will remain #1 for any period. Payments are processed by Stripe and may be subject to Stripe's terms and privacy practices. DETHRONE does not receive or store your full card number.

You are responsible for applicable taxes, valid payment information, and charges authorized through your account. Test or sandbox checkouts are not real purchases and create no right to production placement.

6. Final sales and limited refunds

Because placement and fortification benefits begin immediately and are designed to be replaced or decay, completed takeovers and completed fortifications are final. Being dethroned quickly, seeing a fortified price decay, disliking the price curve, receiving fewer visits than expected, or regretting the purchase does not qualify for a refund.

DETHRONE may issue or automatically initiate a refund when a payment loses a simultaneous-takeover race, is duplicated, cannot produce the purchased placement because of a verified technical failure, is rejected by DETHRONE before fulfillment, or must be refunded by law. Processing fees and timing are controlled in part by Stripe and the payment networks.

7. Public record and license

Reigns are public events. You authorize DETHRONE to display and reproduce the public X identity information you submit or authorize, your optional message, purchase amount, reign timing, traffic metrics, leaderboard position, and takeover relationships for operating, promoting, documenting, and sharing the service.

You retain your rights in your content. You grant DETHRONE a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to operate and promote DETHRONE. The record is intended to remain public, but we may edit or remove material to comply with law, safety needs, X requirements, account-owner requests, or these Terms.

8. Metrics, credits, and service changes

Traffic and leaderboard metrics are estimates produced from first-party events, deduplication, and automated filtering. They may contain errors and are not audited. Revenge credits and court titles are promotional features with no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and may be corrected or voided for error, fraud, manipulation, or policy violations.

We may modify, pause, reset, or discontinue features, seasons, formulas, rankings, or the service. We will not retroactively increase a charge already authorized.

9. Third-party services and non-affiliation

DETHRONE links to and interoperates with third-party services, including X and Stripe. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we do not control their availability or enforcement decisions.

DETHRONE is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. X and related names and marks are the property of their respective owners.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DETHRONE is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, availability, accuracy, and any warranty that a placement will generate traffic, followers, engagement, revenue, or other results.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attention Markets, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost opportunity, reputational harm, X account action, or third-party conduct. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to DETHRONE during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Attention Markets, LLC, doing business as 10X Companies, DETHRONE, and their personnel from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your X account, your violation of these Terms or the Rules, your violation of law or third-party rights, or your misuse of the service.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access, remove content or placement, void credits or metrics, or preserve records when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, policy compliance, legal compliance, or protection of the service and its users.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes must be brought in a state or federal court located in Minnesota, and each party consents to that court's jurisdiction.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Material changes apply prospectively. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
