Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Attention Markets, LLC, doing business as 10X Companies and DETHRONE (“DETHRONE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you visit dethrone.live, sign in with X, purchase a takeover or fortification, or appear in the public reign record.

1. Information we collect

X identity information. When you use Sign in with X, we receive information authorized by the login scope, such as your X user ID, username, display name, profile image, and other public profile fields X makes available. We do not receive your X password. The login flow may use a short-lived access token to retrieve your identity; DETHRONE does not retain that X access token as part of your public throne record.

Placement and public-record information. We collect your optional message, takeover, opening-reserve, and fortification amounts, payment status, reign start and end times, account relationships, credits, rankings, and measured traffic associated with a reign.

Payment information. Stripe processes payments and provides transaction identifiers, status, amount, and limited billing or fraud information. DETHRONE does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

Usage and device information. We and our infrastructure providers may process IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs, security events, and similar logs. For application-level outbound-click measurement, DETHRONE uses a daily pseudonymous value derived from IP address, user agent, and date to deduplicate visitors; the application record does not store the raw IP address used to create that value.

Cookies and local storage. We use necessary session cookies for authentication and security and local storage for preferences such as theme. We do not currently use third-party behavioral advertising cookies.

2. How we use information

• Verify that a takeover or fortification uses the X account controlled by the buyer or current ruler.
• Create and fulfill takeovers and fortifications, process credits, and maintain reign history and leaderboards.
• Measure profile-link traffic, deduplicate visits, filter bots, and calculate performance metrics.
• Process payments, refunds, fraud checks, disputes, accounting, and legal obligations.
• Secure, debug, analyze, and improve the service.
• Enforce the Terms, Rules, X policies, and applicable law.
• Announce takeovers from DETHRONE-controlled accounts and communicate with you about the service.

3. Information that is public

DETHRONE is built around a public record. Your X handle and public profile information, optional message, placement price, reign timing, measured traffic, rankings, titles, and who dethroned whom may be displayed publicly, included in share cards, and announced from DETHRONE-controlled social accounts.

Do not submit a message or use an account for a takeover if you do not want that information associated with the public record. The record is intended to remain available, subject to removal or correction required by law, safety, platform policy, third-party rights, or operational necessity.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed with:

• X, for authentication, profile retrieval, linking, and announcements made through DETHRONE's account.
• Stripe, for payment processing, fraud prevention, refunds, disputes, and financial compliance.
• Hosting, database, security, analytics, and infrastructure providers that process information on our behalf to operate the service.
• Professional advisers, authorities, or counterparties when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, protection of rights and safety, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the service.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use X-derived information to target advertising outside X.

5. Legal bases and choices

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, comply with legal obligations, and, where required, with your consent.

You can decline Sign in with X or payment, but then you cannot purchase placement. You may clear local storage in your browser and can revoke DETHRONE's X authorization through your X account settings. Revoking authorization does not automatically erase a completed public reign or transaction record.

6. Retention

We retain transaction, fraud, accounting, and legal records for the periods reasonably required by law and business needs. Authentication state and security data are kept only as long as needed for their purpose. Public reign history and aggregated metrics may be retained while the service operates, unless removal is required by law or policy.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including signed authentication flows, restricted secrets, and payment processing through Stripe. No internet service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and to appeal a denied request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law, including transaction, security, and public-interest records.

Submit a request to throne@dethrone.live. You may also report X-account or content issues directly through X.

9. Children

DETHRONE is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 to purchase placement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through purchases.

10. International use

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

11. Third-party services and non-affiliation

X, Stripe, and linked sites have their own privacy practices. DETHRONE is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy by posting a revised version and effective date. Material changes apply prospectively.
